Busy Busy

It seems we are always running from one thing to the next. This last Friday Isaac and I went to Chuck E Cheese with my sister in law Liz and her two kids, Maddie and Zack. Isaac had a blast. He wanted so badly to ride on this monster truck. He thought he was so cool.

Saturday we got up early and went out to our rental property to install sod. I will be so happy when this house is sold. It has done nothing for me but bleed my bank account dry. Poor Greg was there at 6:00 in the morning and didn't get home until about 8:0o that night. Even then we didn't get all the work done, so he had to go back out on Sunday and finish up. Thank you to all of you who were out there helping us. We would probably still be out there if we didn't have your help.

Sunday Greg's family had a pre birthday party for Isaac. (His actual birthday is Saturday) I thought this picture turned out neat.

What I Did On My Summer Vacation

Since the purpose of this whole blog thing is supposed to be about what going on with our little family, I feel like I need to do a little catching up. So here's what we did over the past summer.

Our biggest thing is was going to Southern California with my family the last part of July. We hit a Dodgers game, Disneyland/California Adventure, the beach, and went fishing. It was a lot of fun.

Isaac was lucky enough to meet a couple of the characters. He wasn't too sure about them though.

His favorite ride, however, was the new Toy Story one at California Adventure. You wear these 3-D glasses and shoot a gun at theses targets. He went on it 4 or 5 times. Here he is waiting in line with his glasses on.

Of course if its summer, my family is going boating thanks to my brother Craig. I was so proud of myself that this is the first year I got some air jumping the wake. Boo Yah!

Greg of course comes along and shows me up.

Yeah! what a babe!

Isaac has been asking to wakeboard too, but I think I'll make him wait a few years. He did get to do some tubing though. He got soooo mad when we made him get out. You would have thought I'd killed his dog. I'm such a mean mom.

Another thing that happened this summer was that Greg ran in a few races. He ran a 10k in Salt Lake and a 5k in Centerville. I didn't get very good pictures and I feel kind of bad. (Sorry Greg) But, Isaac ran in a 1/4 mile kids race in connection with the Centerville 5k. This is one of my favorite pictures of Greg and Isaac.

Come on, how cute is that!?! You want more? Of course you do.

I've Given In

So I guess I've given it to peer pressure and here I sit creating a blog. I don't know why I've resisted for so long, I've actually had fun! I think it will be a good thing for me to keep track of what we do in our crazy busy lives and a good way to keep in touch with people.

If I have your blog listed on the side, and for some reason you don't want it there please let me know. I'm sorry if there's some blog etiquette I don't know about. Give me a break! I'm new to this!

So off we go, I guess. We'll see how good I am at updating this thing. I hope to do it often. Oh, and if you haven't figured out what the name of the blog stands for it's Greg, Lisa and Issac Baldwin. My sister came up with it for me. Thanks Melanie!
