Catching Up

I was doing so well with my four posts in October. Then a month and a half goes by and I fail to post anything. Sigh. I guess that's how it's gonna be.

So here I am, a week before Christmas, updating my blog on the happenings of our family. I missed a post about Halloween. Isaac dressed as an astronaut. He had that planned for months before. We went to a Halloween party hosted by Greg's work. Isaac won the costume contest! He was so proud of himself. His prize was a $25 Visa gift card. Pretty sweet, eh? I took all of 2 pictures of him in his costume, and now I've lost my camera. This picture is stolen from my family's blog.

He would go around saying, "One small step for man, one giant leap for Isaac!"

We had a great Thanksgiving as well. We went to Greg's parents' house this year. They always have such good food. Yummy.

And now we have just been busy getting ready for Christmas. We took Isaac to see Santa Clause a few weeks ago. He asked him for some drums and a rocket ship. He has been really into space and astronauts lately. (Just to point out the obvious.) He also asked Santa why he gave the bad kids coal. I don't think that was a question Santa was prepared to answer. LOL. He mumbled something about how that's only a gift for kids who have been bad.

Other than that, not much else is going on around our house. We have just been busy with the normal things. Here's to hoping I can find my camera so I can take some pictures on Christmas!
